email cue- Humor

During lunch my colleague was enquiring what on earth was worrying me since that morning. I knew he was aware my wife left for her parents’ place and it was quite sometime ago in the last year. I then confessed to him that only yesterday I forgot writing her the email before shutting down my PC. He wondered, “Was that a big deal?” I said “ Indeed. It is. Before leaving she swore she would return the very next day I stopped writing.”

TAJ --just wonder

Been there once.

Touched the walls,

felt the vibrations of love

labor and pride, of moon

in the day, of prison cells,

a marked passion,

of thirst for power,

pride of a dynasty

and nation, of nationhood

and identity. I then posed

for picture with wife,

and jumped in the air

for a trick pic saying,

Wah... Taj !

I never mind

it is in new seven wonders --

sure it is the only wonder

of everlasting mankind

and everyone's love,

a Taj Mahal of his own.
Except for the pain,

uncertainties abound

thereabouts of life;

nothing should interest

unless there is deeper stake.

Found everything a commonplace.

Nothing to look forward to,

but for the past revisiting;

too tired and vexed.

No new steps came to

that should be belonging to God.

Listened to Him from the above--

an ear pressed against the floor.

Crawling things entered

my each pore.

Safe in Swaraj

Praise our Indian psyche,
that uniquely benign conscious!

So simple and earthly it is,
yet sublimely spiritual;
booms in many tongues and colors,
but with one face not destroyable.

It has acquired new knowledge,
gained in material wealth;
only in large scattered pockets,
yet to get more egalitarian.

To that latter object
we all should struggle
and struggle selflessly,
to bring in true Swaraj (freedom),
before losing to terror raj (reign).

In line with our timeless motto,
SARVE JANA SUKHINO BHAVANTU,
(let all living being in the world be happy)
let us be safe and secure
and love our country.

Dear Heart

Dear Heart! Age is the

villain wounding you still; but

spirit left made an

indelible imprint- that

ghostly tears cannot wipe off.
